At Vantage, we prioritise the security of your funds. Our negative balance protection ensures that you are protected from losing more money than you deposited (*Subject to risk assessment and approval).
If you wish to make a deposit into a trading account with a negative balance, you will need to submit a reset negative balance request.
Here’s how you can reset the negative balance within the Client Portal:
- Navigate to your Support tab.
- Select Create New Ticket
- In the Subject field, enter “Reset negative balance”
- In the Content field, enter the trading account number which you wish to reset the balance
- Click Create New Ticket

Requests for negative balance restoration are subject to risk assessment and approval. Negative balances resulting from trading abuses, such as excessive leverage or position size during periods of high volatility, will be evaluated case-by-case and not all cases may be eligible for protection.
