To open a live trading account, Vantage requires the submission of proof of identity and proof of address documentation alongside your application, in accordance with applicable anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and industry Know Your Customer (KYC) standards.
There are different requirements based on your place of residence.
- Valid Passport
- Notarised (Certified) valid Driver Licence*
- Notarised (Certified) valid National Identity Card*
*Any photo ID other than a Passport must be notarised (certified) as a true copy of the original document. If you are sending certified documentation, please ensure:
A qualified person such as a Public Notary, Pharmacist, Accountant, Police Officer, Solicitor, Lawyer, Commissioner of Oaths, Justice of the Peace, or any other authorised professional certifies the documentation.
All pages need to be stamped with the Notary Stamp, show the business name and address of the Notary. The Notary should sign and date all copies, and print and sign their full name.
All copies must contain a statement similar to “I certify that this copy is a true copy of the original document“
Your Photo ID must list your full name, plus either your date of birth, OR your full residential address. A PO Box cannot be accepted as your address.
You will need to provide the documentation at your Secure Client Portal during the verification process.
