I receive the error message 'market is closed' when I am trying to place trades. What does this mean?
The 'market is closed' error message means you are trying to trade outside of the product's trading session. You will not be able to place or change orders over the weekend, on market holidays or and at other times when the relevant markets are generally closed.
To check the trading session of a product, please right-click on the product in the Market Watch window and select ‘Specifications’, which will open a new window with the trading hours of the selected product.
